No, I'm not getting married yet! But I was preparing yesterdays post looking for some inspiration on Pinterest, and I ended up looking through weddings pinboards. I think I could have spent at least a couple hours scrolling down and saving pictures!
Love wedding planning and today I want to show you some inspiration and some wedding dresses.
It's said that wedding planning takes a lot of time and can drive brides crazy. And it's not exaggerating. Weddings include so many chores and checklist... Like book Venue, draft a guest list, the engagement party, pick an Officiant, choose vendors, photographer, order your dress, cake testings, dress fitting, makeup trials... SO MANY THINGS to consider!
Before I get married I hope I'll have enough time to update the blog with every one of these steps, and maybe help you with yours! I'm feeling anxious just to see how much I'll have to do...
For now I'm just going to start with some inspiration of the whole event and specially, the wedding dress <3
I found this pic real original and interesting! It's pretty obvious every guest is going to take pics with their phones and most likely every single one of them will have either instagram or twitter or both! So why don't upload them to this social media under a certain hashtag? This way, everyone can see pics of everything that happened in every corner of the wedding! I'm so doing this.
So let's hit the dresses now. I'm going to save the real inspiration for another time, with all the designers proposals, the trends of the time, where to get the best deals, etc.
Doesn't this make you want to get married right away? <3 It also makes me really confused.. I don't know if I ever could choose one type of dress: A-line to disguise a heavy bottom figure, Empire (ideal for small busts), a princess Ball Gown which is the dream of every girl, Sheath, sexy Mermaid, Trumpet, Tea-length or Mini
Then it comes the neckline: halter, sweetheart, boat... so many options. With or without petticoat. Long sleeves? Short? Sleeveless? I don't know! But I will have a mini dress for the dance for sure! Like this one
I don't know about anything else, but I'm sure that I won't spend thousands of euros on a dress. I also get some ideas from cheap sites like DressV that I've already mention before. It's worth to take a look, especially if you have a tight budget! Or when, like me, you want a second dress for the dance and you don't want to go broke.
