Best Dressed Oscars 2015

A good thing about insomnia is that you get to watch the Oscars 2015 in stream! I don't normally post at this times, but I think you all will agree with me that it's an special occasion! This is my selection of best dressed of the night! Let me know what you think!

No one can argue that she was the master piece of the night. Classic and elegant, Cate Blanchett represents the pure art of style.

Dressed in Maison Margiela black dress and a turquoise statement necklace from Tiffanys.

This simple black gown, with a large cutout detail at the back, looks just right to me. Most people kept saying she was just playing safe, but I nominate her as the best dressed of the night for her minimalism and elegance!

Pin-up hairstyle and minimal make up with a pale pink lip, some blush and black khol, rocked the whole outfit.

As most of you know by now, John Galliano took over the creative direction of Maison Margiela recently, and if you haven't seen their new collection, I highly recommend you to see the debut of the designer for this firm.

I have to admit that there are a few good outfits on the red carpet at the Oscars 2015, but for me, the best dressed list continues like this:

Felicity Jones in Alexander McQueen - Julianne Moore in Chanel - Lupita Nyong'o in Calvin Klein

The ones that caught my eye first were these embroided white dresses. Weather floral embroidery like Chanel or pearls like Calvin Klein, they all got their spot on the podium.

Emma Stone in Elie Saab - Gwyneth Paltrow in Ralph&Russo - Sienna Miller in Armani

I'm a huge fan of Elie Saab, so of course it has to be on my best dressed list at the Oscars 2015. Gwyneth Paltrow represents elegance and simplicity, and even if that wasn't enough, she shines by herself.

Reese Witherspoon in Tom Ford - Jennifer Aniston in Versace - Naomi Watts in Armani

Weather black&white, shiny show off or halter neck, they all found their place and conquered my eyes.

What they all have in common is the elegant, classy and feminine personality of their outfits. They knew how to combine an spectacular dress with a polish make up and a classy hairstlye.

I'll keep posting the rest of the outfits of the night on my Facebook page

Hope you liked it!
